To prevent further destruction of the forest, alternative land use and agro forestry systems have been developed which allow sustainable management and create additional income for the farmers.

• Ofram and Okra
• Green Peas and Trees

Agroforestry offers a lot of possibilities for value adding of natural resources that were formerly not applicable and of no commercial use for the farmers.
